Knitting Needles Sizes

 

On the market you will find several styles of knitting needle - short ones, long ones, ones with wooden or metal handles and double ended knitting needles. If you are having difficulty with a particular type of needle it might be worth experimenting with another style of needle until you are comfortable and satisfied with the results.

Threads

On the market there are a vast variety of threads and it is difficult to keep up with all that are being currently used by miniature knitters. Some pattern designers prefer one thread over another but what if you are already have some threads in a drawer and don't really want to spend out on more? I have tried to draw up a list of the threads I know that are currently being used and what they are interchangeable with. You may find a very slight difference in their thickness but all should be suitable as replacements for each other.
